MAKING A DIFFERENCE - THE CHILDREN WE SERVE

A wonderful Read-a-Thon with special guests Mr. G, New York's Bravest and the Voice of Dora. This special event helps bring the magic of books to life in honor of Brooke and the many others that lost their lives on 9/11 through a fun day of story telling and activities for children and parents.

The local community comes together to Race for Literacy around the scenic roads of Oyster Bay, NY. This past year we had the biggest turn out yet with over 250 participants and raised nearly $20,000 to help support the Foundation's many literacy initiatives. A fun event for all ages!

Sending 4,000 Brooke Packs full of books and school supplies to disadvantaged children in the New York City area. The Brooke Jackman Foundation strives to level the playing field by giving kids the tools they need to succeed from the start.

Encouraging healthy living and literacy with Brooke's Cooks. The Brooke Jackman Foundation kicked off 2017 with two Brooke's Cooks events, both resulting in double the attendance of previous years. Kids learn the importance of nutrient-rich foods, how to read recipes and prepare ingredients together.

Together we celebrated "15 years of gratefulness" honoring YOU, our supporters, sponsors, volunteers and participants for helping the Foundation become a successful resource for disadvantaged children in New York. We look forward to continuing our efforts in future years to come.
